Main tumhaare bachche ki maa banne waali hoon

This line is used not only in Hindi movies, but also in TV soaps. Usually used in a situation where the woman is speaking to her lover. Did the hero and heroine do something in the heat of the moment, or is the guy a villain in the film and is she his unsuspecting lover, in which case this scene is followed by a dhan dhan dhan!

The villain either asks his lover to get an abortion – or he  hires someone to kill her or actually kills her himself, the usual method is stangulation. This line is actually used when the girl is majboor, but still thinks that her lover will actually come through and marry her.

In cases where the girl knows that her lover is a bad guy, or if she was raped, the line is changed to tumhaara (uska) paap mere pet mein pal raha hai.

The girl moves to a new area and raises her child alone. The child sees his mother struggles of life and seeks revenge from his father. And then the angry man comes into the picture and this gives the hero a reason to be angry and aggressive.

We women learn not to trust men, ever, or we could end up saying the same line, main tumhaare bache ki maa banne waali hoon….

  1. Haha. Guess that is one way to teach women not to trust men, as you said. Not that most women really need to be reminded, but still lol.
